Spring is right around the corner. I am literally counting down the days like a child at Christmas... I missed out on Spring/Summer a lot last year due to pregnancy complications and then birth (I was house bound for a long time) so you can understand my excitement for some sunshine.
On top of that my skin definitely lacked that glow with raging hormones, and no energy to bother with makeup.
Today's look is a simple fresh faced look. Effortless yet strong. With a hint of berry and glossy cheekbones you'll have everyone excited for Spring!
For the face — I started with Therapi rose otto (opt for orange blossom or lemon myrtle if you have normal or oily/combination skin) I love to use this instead of a primer it leaves my skin deeply nourished and leaves me with a dewy base. I then use Madara moonflower rose beige tinted fluid which offers a light coverage and adds a slight glow to my skin whilst also leaving a dewy finish. If I have blemishes I add a little of the logona perfect finish foundation to areas of need which offers a medium to full coverage. For my cheeks I use tan organic bronze duo I tend to use the lighter side just to add slight definition to my cheekbones. Then I add my favourite illuminator by ILIA I add this to the tops of my cheeks, nose and brow bones.
For the eyes — I like to leave my lashes naked, I'm blessed they are naturally super long, I just comb them and pinch with my eyelash curler to wake them up! For a day time look I like to use Pacifica gold shadow on my uper lid, in the evening I add a little of the purple for a slightly more dramatic look. I add a little illuminator in the corners of each eye. (And try not to forget to brush my bushy ol' brows)
For the lips — I add a tiny smudge of 100% purrs pomegranate balm which adds a slight berry hue to my lips, I then smooth over ILIA humble me lipstick which is very matte and slightly coral, I like the finishing colour with combining both of these lip products it's much more moisturising for my always dry lips (bad habit of biting them!)
What colours do you like to wear during spring?
