Turns out I may have been wrong about my eczema... For years I have suffered with a bumpy dry itchy area on both of my arms nothing I use ever seams to help it. When I was talking with Sasha from Balanced beauty Bristol she assured me that it was due to poor circulation she suffer with something very similar and when she started body brushing her symptoms improved.
Comvita have developed a natural sensitive cream for sensitive, dry and eczema prone skin. Instead of using this on my, what I thought was eczema! I have been using it on dry areas around my body as well to see if I could notice any improvements on skin texture. It is fragrance free however the sweet smell of honey is very delicious and adds a subtle scent when applying the product. The texture is wonderful very lightweight and soft when applying to the skin I can feel it soaking deeply into the dryness and I notice instant improvement in the texture of my skin. I would love to try more products from this brand purely because I have had a pleasurable experience with this product.
I've been using it on my chest I sometimes get little under the skin spots. Medihoney contains Manuka honey which has anti fungal and humectant properties. Since using this product I have noticed great improvements. Less spots on my chest and my elbows and knees are a lot less dry. Along with body brushing and using Comvita medihoney on my arms I have also noticed improvements less itching, less redness and less dryness. I am going to continue to use this product and I will most likely repurchase. I love the fact that it's an affordable treatment at just £8.99. This product is so gentle that you're able to use it in your children, even babies! Roman has been lucky and has never suffered with eczema or dry skin (only cradle cap) but he is ever in need of a natural nourishing cream I'll know what to use.
Have you tried anything from
Comvita? What are you favourite eczema/dry skin remedies? PS. Any tips for cradle cap welcome...
