REN|perfect canvas|review

Ok, I had to share this product with you ASAP. I basically received a sample and I was a bit like, meh. But how I misjudged this babe. I was so impressed after one use. I did not believe my eyes. My skin looked airbrushed. Everything just looked so smooth and perfect like I'd filtered my face. my only issue with this product is that it contain a coconut derivative. So far I haven't reacted but i avoid using it on my acnegenic areas. *cheekbones and chin.jaw*.

This is a skin enhancing priming serum. It's got an EXTRA name. But rightly so for an EXTRA-ORDINARY product that is the 'perfect canvas'

The box says

This light textured, silicone free serum is perfect to use after moisturiser. Pro-biotics smooth the skin and enhance skin's structure by encouraging surface cell renewal, whilst the Agave extract helps leave skin with a matte finish - the perfect canvas upon which to apply makeup.
Results:
Moisture balance is restored. The skin is smoothed, plumped, filled and primed ready for make-up or not.
Benefits:
Lifts, tightens and fills using natural sugars Stimulates internal skin structure ‘the skin architect’ Boosts skin’s immune system – less breakouts.

My thoughts

So... I haven't really used this long enough to comment on the skin benefit side of things. But as a make up base. So a primer which is what I originally thought it was. Bonus that its also skincare. It's thee best make up base ever!!! My make up literally stays put all day. This stops the end of day scaley patches I usually get on dry areas. Though it dry's matte it works well before or after my facial oil. I really prefer a dewy finish once my make up is applied so if you also do try dabbing a little oil on before and after applying the perfect canvas! It has a gorgeous scent. It's super light weight. I have actually just worn this without make up over the top and people have asked what I'm wearing so it's definitely changing the dull appearance of my skin at first glance. At £50 a pop I will most likely keep this for under makeup application just because it allows my make up to look it's best. Plus I don't want to overload my skin with caprylic from coconut. A very tiny amount is needed and the tiny sample pot a had lasted me at least 5-6 applications and I think it was 2ml of product so a little goes a long way which makes me feel better about the price! 1. I love using this as a primer! It has such a unique formula and feels absolutely weightless on the skin while other smoothing primers often feel balmy and slippery.
