Being honest I have never really used sunscreen on my face only if I know I am bathing in it all day. It was'nt until I had a facial last year and the beautician told me I had slight sun damage to my skin that I really took the 'sunscreen stops ageing' claims seriously 😬 I am a sun worhshipor I spend hours upon hours in the sun especially during spring & summer. I have not aged much in the last 10 years but I put that down to a relitivivly healthy diet & lifestyle. I might add before this review that my skin is sensitive but it is not sun sensitive, I am slightly olive and my skin tans relitivly dark during summer. That being said if you're pale or sun sensitive you can get the SPF50 here.
Ive always been a huge fan of madara products they always do what they say on the box, in my experience. That's why I have continued to use their products over the last 7 years. You can read some of my other madara reviews here, here and here.
The sunscreen offers both UVA/UVB protection. It has a slight tint in colour which I enjoy because it offers subtle coverage especially makes the undereyes appear brighter. My concealer/foundation blends effortlessly over the top and for me this sunscreen works better than some primers I have tried. It offers a dewy hydrated look without making me appear shiney/greasy. I sometimes blend it with my concealer for a lightweight foundation with skincare benefits and SPF protection and it serves me well. Since adding this to my skincare routine I have noticed an improvment in the texture of my skin it was also far less dry this winter. I wear this most days but especially on sunny days, even during the winter! One last thing it smells SOOOOOO good. If you've been around here before you'll know I have a bit of an obession with scents 😏
This face SPF contains a huge dose of antioxidants!!! It conatins skin regentive ingredients, protects against pollution great if you live in a busy city like myself. It protects against all the types of sundamage including pigmentation, dark spots, wrinkles and dryness as well as keeping the skin plump and full of volume!
Is there anything else you'd like to know about the Madara sunscreen? If so let me know in the comments or send me a DM I might be able to help - Eloise x
